The Shield does fall firmly into that category with roaming &#8220;un-steadycam&#8221; work and the like. But the scenes with Dutch and&#8230; well.. that&#8217;d be a spoiler wouldn&#8217;t it? Let&#8217;s just say that they&#8217;re well worth watching and the show&#8217;s ending was very disturbing.<br \/>\nI do think that The Shield is probably the best US drama series currently airing that I&#8217;ve seen &#8211; beating the likes of The Sopranos. It packs a mighty punch.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not sure when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.five.tv\">Channel Five<\/a> (calling it just <i>Five<\/i> sounds so wrong) are going to start showing the next series in the UK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week&#8217;s (US) episode of The Shield was directed by David Mamet!
