{"id":548,"date":"2004-01-22T02:19:46","date_gmt":"2004-01-22T02:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.adambowie.com\/2004\/01\/the_nutcracker\/"},"modified":"2004-01-22T02:19:46","modified_gmt":"2004-01-22T02:19:46","slug":"the_nutcracker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.adambowie.com\/blog\/2004\/01\/the_nutcracker\/","title":{"rendered":"The Nutcracker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I went to see my first ever ballet. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.matthewbournesnutcracker.com\/\">The Nutcracker<\/a> by Matthew Bourne is something of a different ballet, I&#8217;m told, with a non-conformist setting and method of producing the show.<br \/>\nThe charming people at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ingdirect.co.uk\/home.html\">ING Direct<\/a> provided the tickets via one of their free offers, and who was I to refuse them.<br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t quite realise how much of the music I already knew, albeit through my knowledge of Fantasia.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a tremendously entertaining and exhiliarating show, from which you come out having had a wonderful time.
