I went on the High Barnet to Cockfosters walk, with around 100 other people. Our guide mentioned that it was the biggest group he&#8217;d ever been out with! <\/p>\n<p>A meandering route from High Barnet tube took us through King George&#8217;s Field, into Hadley Common and Monken Hadley, and on through Hadley Wood until we reached Cockfosters. <\/p>\n<p>The walk forms a small part of one section of the London Loop &#8211; a walk I really will do at some point.<\/p>\n<p>Our guide told us lots of the history of the area &#8211; and pointed out many of the more spectacular houses there are around here.
