So with Obama getting in, picking a copy of that day&#8217;s New York Times seemed like an idea. Copies are printed in the UK, but it&#8217;s a &#8220;lite&#8221; version and time differences mean that it has to go to press very early.<br \/>\nThis evening on NBC&#8217;s Nightly News, Brian Williams reported that copies were selling on eBay for as much as $30-50 each. Indeed a <a href=\"http:\/\/shop.ebay.co.uk\/items\/_W0QQ_nkwZnewQ20yorkQ20timesQ20obamaQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZR40QQ_mdoZ\">quick search<\/a> reveals that I can pick up a copy for over &pound;60 plus another &pound;15 postage.<br \/>\nThe I decided to visit the New York Times store which happily sells copies for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytstore.com\/?utm_source=nytimes&#038;utm_medium=HPB&#038;utm_content=v1&#038;utm_campaign=elect2008\">$14.95<\/a> and that includes international postage.
