George Clooney is a bit of a fixer for a law firm who ends up in a convoluted story involving a major class action lawsuit.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s another one of those films that&#8217;s constructed in a non-linear fashion as we start near the end of the tale before jumping back to what happened.<br \/>\nI quite enjoyed this legal tale, although perhaps the ending was a little forced, and I&#8217;m not entirely sure that I believed in Tilda Swinton&#8217;s character who was so insecure despite her meteoric rise to the top.<br \/>\nHaving now seen the opening episode of TV series Damages, there are obviously some similarities between the two.<br \/>\nSince it&#8217;s long disappeared from cinemas, you&#8217;ll probably need to wait for the DVD which I&#8217;m sure is coming <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Michael-Clayton-George-Clooney\/dp\/B000ZN63S0\/\">any day now<\/A>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Clayton is another film I saw a while ago, but didn&#8217;t note at the time.
