I quite like <a href=\"http:\/\/pilger.carlton.com\/\">John Pilger<\/a>, but was annoyed with myself when I missed his last <a href=\"http:\/\/www.johnpilger.com\/palestine\">TV documentary<\/a> &#8211; a documentary that Michael Green, Chairman of the TV company that made and aired the programme, <a href=\"http:\/\/media.guardian.co.uk\/broadcast\/story\/0,7493,795413,00.html\">attacked<\/a>!<br \/>\nThe book is in four sections, covering many of the issues today, with good sections on the &#8220;War on Terror&#8221; and a fascinating chapter on the hidden disgrace that is Australia&#8217;s contiuing treatment of its Aboriginal people.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s remarkable how current everything in the book still is, considering that it was published in April this year.<br \/>\nIn particular in continually lambasts the media&#8217;s lack of objectivity, and the ease with which stories are presented in a simplistic and one-sided light.<br \/>\nRecommended.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I picked this up in the Waterstones sale quite cheaply.
