As usual in such films, an all-star voice cast has been gathered together. And, as is becoming very usual, we get a few UK-specific voices in our version. So that means cameos by the likes of Terry Wogan, Cat Deeley, Chris Moyles and Vernon Kay.
\nI’ve got to be honest – I think I’d prefer specialist voice artists to the star names.
\nOverall, it’s a creative and inventive film, but not one I’d go out of my way to see. In some respects the Heath-Robinson nature of the machines mirrored some of the Wallace & Gromit shorts.
\nSince this is a Fox film, they could have shown the new Star Wars trailer, but instead we just got the teaser. Still I did get a Robots lunchbox complete with Robots slinky, so I can’t complain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Robots is the latest film from Fox’s CGI animation division Blue Sky.
